This is my first pre-order! Is there anything I should know before placing an order?

Yes! There are a few pre-order terms and information you should be aware of. Gift cards, promotions, and discounted special offers are not valid for redemption on pre-ordered items or special releases. Also, in the event that an item in your pre-order is not produced due to any unforeseen circumstance out of our control, you will receive a refund back to your original form of payment. Finally, pre-order purchases are final sale and may not be cancelled. More on this below.

ANTICIPATED SHIPPING SCHEDULE
After your purchase, you'll receive an email confirmation of your order along with an anticipated ship date. PLEASE NOTE: Anticipated ship dates are estimates only; there is no promise or guarantee, and estimates are always subject to change.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW

◦ Please, buy only what you intend to keep! To discourage the unauthorized reselling of our products on 3rd party sites, a strict limit of two of each item per person/address is enforced. So don't you even try it! :) These limits are published on each individual product page.

Pre-ordered items may not be cancelled and are final sale; by placing a pre-order, you are committing to the items; they will be produced just for you! This allows you to reserve our most popular, in-demand products without the "hassle of the hunt."

◦ This one is important, so we'll include it for you again: all pre-orders are final sale. Simply put, we're a small business, run by two people - it's not cool to place an order you don't intend to keep or that you're not willing to wait for. Your order comes with a real cost -- in addition to credit card processing fees, your purchase is in turn a commitment from us to our vendor partners that we are purchasing the item and reserving it especially for you. Orders containing pre-ordered items that are cancelled for any reason more than 48 hours after the order is placed will be subject to a non-refundable 15% to 20% restocking fee at our discretion as outlined in our shop policies. This includes a 4.9% transaction processing fee. 

Additionally, excessive order cancellations as a whole (pre-order or not) are also subject to a 15% to 20% restocking fee at our discretion as outlined in our shop policies. We don't enjoy being sticklers, but we do have to draw the line somewhere from time-to-time.

Daily Product Delivery Updates / When Will My Order Ship?

Your pieces are reserved just for you -- that's the benefit of placing a pre-order!

Now that we have (finally) received product, we are focusing our time and effort on fulfilling your orders.

We ask that you please refrain from sending emails asking "When will my order ship?" as that takes us away from fulfilling your order and only delays fulfillment even longer. Instead, we are providing daily product availability and shipping updates here, available 24/7.

If your order status is pending, it means just that - your order is confirmed and pending fulfillment. We are working as fast as we can to process orders.

Due to the large volume of orders we process, we cannot provide concrete shipping times or estimates for individual orders via email or social media. You will receive a shipment notification with tracking details as soon as your package is on the way.

CURRENT ANTICIPATED SHIP DATES & PRODUCT AVAILABILITY:

Fall Season & Halloween 2021:

Our next Transpac delivery is scheduled for 10/5! This shipment is anticipated to contain some of the last items we’ve been waiting on, including Mr. & Mrs. Frank, Candy Corn Bowls, as well as the Jack-O-Lantern teapot and teacups! We will keep you posted here as always with updates
STATUS: Deliveries have begun; shipments will continue throughout October. Currently, we're prioritizing orders placed in December and January. We will continue updating this status daily as progress is made.

JPD by TRANSPAC: Some products arrived later than originally anticipated, including the Pumpkin Teapot & Jack-O-Lantern Teacup Sets, Black Cat Salt + Pepper Shaker Gift Sets, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Gift Sets, Candy Corn Plate & Bowl Sets, and standing bowl buddies (small/tall). These are expected to deliver in early October. Orders will be fulfilled as quickly as possible.  

Additional Ghostie Stew pieces from Bethany Lowe yet, but will update as soon as possible when they are available.

Christmas Season 2021:
STATUS: Our Christmas products are en route to our warehouse and currently expected to deliver to us the 2nd week of October. Shipments are anticipated to start as scheduled; beginning late fall throughout late October and into November. We will not begin shipping Christmas pieces until Halloween shipments are caught up.

PLEASE NOTE: Anticipated ship dates are estimates only; there is no promise or guarantee, and estimates are always subject to change. We know waiting is NO fun; unfortunately, the vast network of ports, container vessels, and trucking companies that move goods around the world continues to be badly tangled. There are ongoing backups and delays impacting every layer of our industry.

I'm not comfortable with placing an order and then waiting for it; do I absolutely HAVE to pre-order?

Not a fan of pre-orders? No worries, there's no pressure at all! It's completely optional and up to you if you choose to participate.

Simply put, we offer pre-ordering as a benefit of C | E EARLY ACCESS for our First Look Members.

Either way, we've got your back: we typically set aside a small number of our most popular items to put up for grabs later in the season, just for guests like you! No guarantees, though. :)

What’s with the order limits? Why don’t you just order more products?

We work hard to spread the love and ensure as many true collectors and everyday shoppers as possible get the chance to buy their favorite items. Placing order limits on popular items is one way we work to be equal and fair to all.

Despite the limits we put in place, you'd be surprised how many people still do anything (and everything!) possible to "break the rules" and try to order 50+ of individual items.

Lastly, it’s not so much a matter of production or "simply ordering more," but rather a matter of logistics. We can only store and fulfill so many orders at any given time, and the limit helps us control and balance our hourly output and the number of pieces available within the market.

Can I add to, modify, or combine my order(s)?

We are not able to accommodate order modifications or changes to orders once they are submitted.

If you have multiple orders, we'll automatically make every effort to combine your purchases into as few shipments as possible (based on product availability at the time of fulfillment.)

An item I pre-ordered now says "be back soon." What's that about?

Only a limited number of each item is made available for pre-order as a perk to our First Look Members. Once the number made available to pre-order has been reached, the item shows as "be back soon." You may see a product return to "pre-order" status again if more of any particular item becomes available again.

Did you know? You can receive an availability alert for any product displaying "be back soon." Simply enter your email address on the product page -- you'll receive an instant alert via email the second the item is available again!

Why should I place a pre-order?

C | E EARLY ACCESS Pre-Orders allow our First Look Members the opportunity to reserve our latest, most popular + in-demand products currently scheduled for delivery, all with zero stress, from a reputable retailer you can count on and trust.

Once your pre-order is placed, that's it! There's no need to stress or continually follow-up on your order status; just sit back, relax, and await the arrival of your carefully crafted goods without the "hassle of the hunt."

I still need help. How do I contact someone?

For order inquires, drop us an email with any questions or hop on over to Guest Services. We're often fulfilling orders in our warehouse and always try our best to answer quickly. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

What’s the deal with the no phone thing, honestly?

I know, right?

It might seem odd, but due to a high volume of calls asking if we will reserve or hold items (along with some rather funny, sometimes wild, and more than a few we just won't get into), we no longer have a public phone number as of 2020. It’s crazy distracting in our little shop and takes us away from what we should be doing: getting our loyal guests their orders as quickly as possible.
